VW Vector Assignment 1by =stourangeau

Digital Art / Vector / Vehicles

Here is my finished vector art for our first graded assignment in Illustrator I at PPCC that I am taking as part of my Web Certificate. (I have over a Decade of experience in Illustrator but the class is required) We were to take the provided VW image and redraw it completely. I may retouch a few parts between now and when I am to turn it in next week, but I am pretty happy with the result so far.

2-8-2013 Uploaded Final Image with all detailing.

Yes. A graphic designer hasn't lived until they've experienced Illustrator. I use it day in and day out at work. Sometimes I go home and use it too.

... is everything supposed to be backwards? i just noticed that the front of the beetle is left, but the seats and the steering wheel are right... i'm just curious is all

Yep that is the way the photo reference was handed out to us. I mentioned it and the Teacher just smiled and said redraw it exactly. So I did. lol
