I've noticed through watching the series 'Clone Wars' and 'Rebels' what ever color a Twi'lek's parents maybe has no bearing on what color the children might be. Actually, it's a good way to prevent racism if everyone's skin color is random.
Maybe it's because of Hera on 'Rebels' and Oola from 'Return of the Jedi' but I tend to favor the greens.
